The Arts District Chorale is an ensemble of skilled, talented, dedicated, professional-quality singers from all walks of life. Recognized for unique and innovative programming, the Chorale’s work is built upon a shared experience of continuous learning and a commitment to excellence, and promoting arts experiences that transform the community, singer and audience alike.

Auditions are by appointment. Please complete the audition form at the bottom of this page. We will contact you to arrange a date and time for your audition.

At the audition you will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
— A good choral voice, not necessarily a solo voice.
— An ability to blend with other voices.
— Intonation, rhythm and general musicianship.
— Ability and enthusiasm to self-teach your part.

Audition Process and Details
— Sing a prepared piece of solo or choral repetoire of your choosing.
— Prepare a brief passages from a choral work provided to you in advance of your audition (memorization not required).
— Sight-read a short music sample.
— The artistic director will vocalize you for range and vocal quality.
— The audition will last approximately fifteen minutes.
— You will be informed of your acceptance status within one week of the audition.

ADC currently rehearses at Northway Christian Church, 7202 W. Northwest Hwy, Dallas (Central Expressway @ NW Hwy) from 7:00-9:30 p.m. on Thursdays.
